Green Achers is a Vancouver based four (sometimes
five) piece rockin' folk band that was formed in
early 1992. Through the songs of Bo Green, the
band quickly found a distinctive sound; they
dubbed it "garage folk", because of its unique
combination of vocals, acoustic guitar, fiddle,
and sometimes accordion with rock bass and drums.
Add some distorted acoustic guitar, or delayed fiddle,
and some really hurtin' songs, and you've got Green
Achers -- garage folk that'll break your heart!
