Is it possible to capture the essenbally improvisational, spontaneous creativity of jazz alongside the brutality of electronica? You can if you can work fast enough. The key is to work quickly with electronics because it's easy to let your brain become stale from the looping beats--it just turns into repetition, and that numbs you. Keep rolling the ideas, almost like constant improvisation.

This is my quasi-acoustic quasi-trip-hop guitar song. It was written trying to emphasize integrating acoustic and electric guitars into electronic music, which was not an easy task (at least for me). |

This is my "soft" song. It evokes memories of the past. Friends and experiences that have come and gone. It's still pretty rough, so e-mail me with suggestions. |
