Jacqui's deep, silky tones are well known to most New Zealanders.
Jacqui is a session vocalist and a successful recording artist in her own right having won the Jazz Album of the Year in 1985 with The Masquerade is Over. The album received rapturous praise from rwespected US disk jockey Bob Coffee who played it regularly on his show. The album features some of new Zealand's best known jazz musicians. Jacqui's second album broadens her scope beyond jazz. It's brimming with original material and her interpretation of rock standards. The CD released in 1991 is entitled Kindred and the track featured on MP3.com is Pretty Words.
