This is the Sarabande from the Violin Partita #1 in bminor by J.S. Bach. While normally a Sarabande is played in a slow, stately manner, this interpretation is at a slightly faster tempo, and is more free flowing, which captures the lyrical essence of the melody. I've also added my own touch by outlining the final b minor chord with octave harmonics, a technique not found in Baroque music, but which helps to set up the final ending chord. |

My new Opus! This instrumental metal tune has several sections. It begins with a Classical Guitar/Flute intro, that segues into an Iron Maiden type riff w/ blistering guitar, & Guitar Synth solo tradeoffs. It then goes into a funk bass bit with backwards guitar, followed by a Pat Metheny type texture w/ a tasty keyboard solo. Then, once again, it blasts into ripping guitar solos till the end. |
