I have been writing songs since I was just a teenager.
I was born and raised in Virginia, one of seven children.
Being born into a musical family encouraged my desire to be a
singer/songwriter. I started out on the piano and then moved
on to guitar because of the mobility of it. I still plan on
recording an album of primarily piano pieces. I have always
had plenty of support from family and friends and have recorded
some previous albums (they will be available at this site soon)
before my latest release "the project".
What is special about this album to me is, it is entirely
my project! My husband helped record it and it has a bit of a
live feel to it because I wanted to be relaxed about it and not
get too stressed about making it perfect. I have many thanks due
to the many people who have invested time in me and encouraged
me in my dream.
For this latest release I do have two very important
people I want to thank. First, God for the inspiration and second
my grandmother who financed this independent album. I could not
have done it without either of them...
