	The third album, "Evolution" came after developing a further interest in eastern culture - India, China and Japan. On my second album "Elements in E flat" I started to experiment with eastern instrumentation - using chinese zithers, gongs and bowls along side "live" orchestral instruments. The album "Elements in E flat" was written completely in the key of E flat - to enhance the "Drone" quality of the eastern instruments. "Evolution" went on from there, creating a closer relationship between my background in classical studies and what I'd learnt through synth experimentation. So following "Elements", I added instruments such as hand drums, African hand made shakers, Indian sitars and chimes from various eastern cultures.
