Chris has spent the last year playing keys with Alex Baird, and recently he's become the official bassist for the band. Chris has also performed some gigs with the infamous 'Moebius Stripper' and the occasional guest appearance with Pete O''Neill, Gerry LeBlanc, etc. |

OKAY, these songs are about girls.
i mean, like, all of them.
each song is about someone i've had something with. people tell me they relate to the perspectives in these songs, which is probably why i've been able to take this so far. i like to think there is a universality in certain experiences, and that if you can retell a story properly, people say, omigod i know exactly what you are talking about. i believe that sense of shared experience is why my stories seem to have an appeal that continues to surprise me.
I started writing about three years ago...and a few years of relationships has led to a collection of stories about them. each episode led to one or more songs reflecting my evolving feelings about what happened. some of the songs express the elation that accompanies finding someone. most of the songs describe some aspect of those lost feelings that always seem to follow losing someone.
by the time i tell these stories a healthy sense of irony has usually impressed itself in the words i use. so people usually smile, or better laugh, upon hearing them. even if the song might at first seem kind of sad.
