Welcome to my page, I resumed working on my LP as of March 2003. Songs featured here will be a part of my future album. Let me know if you like anything you hear, or have comments, suggestions, critisism.....I try to be open minded.....also, make sure to check my radio site and the artists that are on it, accessable by clicking on "my station" under the link tab.
UPDATE 3/25/03: I've got my new equipment and nice soundcard, the intro song for the LP should be finished and loaded up sometime in April, with several additional tracks being put up over the summer as they are completed....its been a while since I updated here, I am well aware of that fact and its been due to equipment needs and constant digging to give myself the pallete with which I'll use to paint my album cuts......thank you for your patience

| I utilized samples in order to create a live (dark) sounding, improv progressive jazz session with a hip hop influence and feel to it.
The layout of the song is somewhat simplistic in order to make the improv idea believable. In my vision, there is a group of three individuals just coming up with riffs on the fly one night.....the bass player, drummer, and keyboardist...(therefore the keyboardist can't play more than one groove and a few sound samples at once). This is more than likely gonna be an unique track on my future EP, let me know what you think about it, I'd appreciate any critisism....thanks......oh and, as a side note, there is no MPC work on this track, it is entirely the product of Cool Edit Pro manipulation.... |
