cusky: sorrow
cusky
review
for sorrow
FOUR
tracks of gut wrenching guitar panache flash. Somewhere between Mansun,Teenage
Fanclub and Urusei Yatsura thereıs more melody, dynamics and (letıs
face it) style than seems possible for an unsigned band. Not that Iım
putting down valleys bands. Far from it. I genuinely believe there is
a whole wealth of untapped hidden talent just waiting to be discovered
in these often bleak, weather beaten valleys of ours. And I think Cusky
are testament to that. My only criticism (and be fair, Iım nit-picking
now) is that the wrong track, Sorrow, has been put forward as
the lead track. In my opinion the outstanding Curtain Call would
have been the obvious choice. A message to all you record companies
out there sign them now before someone else does. Listen for yourself
