-news-
Below are songs recorded by Buffalo band, starsick in late 99 through early 2001. Since that time the band moved on into many different phases, adventures, projects, and lineup changes before eventually parting ways in early 2003. I keep this page up as a sort of yearbook for fans of their music to look back on. And who knows? Maybe it'll even be updated someday. Out there somewhere are many long hours of unreleased Starsick material from various projects over the years. "starsickonline.com" will soon feature a complete band timeline for those of you with a lot of free time on your hands. Starsick can still be contacted, by the way, at "starsick@yahoo.com"
Thanks for caring enough to actually read all this,

Recorded at in 2001 at Watchmen Studios, Lockport, NY. This song was an experiment into slightly more surreal and electronic territory by the band. Inspired by acts like Portishead, The Cure, Radiohead, and even Depeche Mode. The band struggled, however with their live interpretation due to the constant headaches of touring with both an electronic and acoustic drum kit. The song eventually took a backseat to songs written in a more refined version of this style, but to this day carries a strange innocent quality that only happens when a band tries new things.

recorded in 2001 at Watchmen studios Lockport, NY. Although this song was essentially retired from live sets by 2002, it remained a favorite of both fans and the band themselves. Looking back, it was an obvious turning point for the band, who at that point had been struggling to outgrow their "heavier" roots. |
