Indian music forms the basis for john perkins'
work, but as a european an interest in other forms of aurally transmitted
music continues. Celtic songs seem particularly
open to arrangements using indian instruments.
The realisation is that forms appearing disparate
are actually using the same set of mathematical
perfections and that human beings the world over
respond similarly to them. The fascination is with
cultural diversity. The hindus and the moslems made this music together.
