	It was one of the first songs I ever wrote, right before I came to NYC from a small town in Germany, near the Czech border.. I didn't know uptown from downtown but played on the street within 2 days! this song gave me the strength that I needed to make it through the first winter...see "deprivation" and "don't tell me" from that very winter. recorded with only a vocal overdub. the rest is all live.
