Thirty seconds into Gerry LeBlanc's latest CD, VAGABOND, you know it's going to be a worthwhile journey.

And true to the CD's title, Gerry takes us on a vagabond's musical adventure, backed by his remarkable talents on acoustic and electric guitar, dobro, chromatic harp and, no surprise here, a train whistle!
Gerry's lyrics are as diverse as his instrumentation. His song, Overworked, is an international worker's lament ...
"...overworked, under loved and underpaid."

Gerry credits much of his musical versatility to years of traveling. Originally from Saint John, New Brunswick and currently based in Toronto, Gerry takes months at a time to explore Canada and other countries. Some tracks find Gerry waxing poetic about his
stays on Isla Mujeres (Isle of Women), a small community of global vagabonds on the northern tip of Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula. Here Gerry lived and jammed with musical drifters from Cuba, South America and other places around the world. These experiences opened his mind and heart to music's incredible universality.
Brilliant contrasts appear between songs like, For Her, a simple and beautiful song and, 45, a raw and energetic piece.
