Fnord Motor Company is a series of experimental short works by Timothy Daniel. My
purpose in doing this is to experiment with new music styles, different recording techniques and
new performance techniques. By keeping all the songs under two minutes I attain two distinct benefits:
1: the works are completed quickly allowing me more room for
exploration without losing the original intent of each work. 2: Listeners
will find the more dissonant and bizarre works listenable because they are long enough to
spark the imagination and rouse curiosity while still being short enough so as not to become
annoying. The genre styles range from experimental classical to jazz to noise. There is a great deal of
diversity here. Many of the musical concepts I develop here are expanded upon in my other
projects which include Ocifer Peacepipe, Paradox Axiom, Uranium Playthings, and Band 20.

The strange sounds you hear is recorded from a cell phone earpiece right into the microphone with no effects. Either a bad signal or a call from space aliens. You decide which. |
