awesome! this is our best track yet... mid paced breakbeat - simpler, more effective, great samples... i can't tell u how much i think this is IT! so here's a review from godsofmusic.com "I felt caught between two time periods...the future and the past...lost in time...Any song that can take you somewhere else has to be good. I've never been one to jump on the electronic thing, but I do know when something has been done well. Throughout the song I kept thinking back to those old fifties movies about atomic bombs. The crazy films that told you that you'd be safe if you were under your desk. English Voodoo did a great job of mixing the beat and changing it up enough to keep the ears tuned in. I felt they did a great job of defining our day and age with their music. This isn't your typical electronic cardboard cutout...they put thought into the breaks and beats... When the song was over I felt oddly motivated as the line "You are here to participate" was repeated over and over...I don't know if they intended the song to be motivational, but it kicked my ass into gear! Check 'em out! English Voodoo will keep you tuned once you listen!!!!" reviewed by Clint Gaige www.godsofmusic.com |
