Belshazzar Biography

BELSHAZZAR formed in 1998 although Mars and Arioch had previously worked on a number of projects together. The idea was to create a black metal band which lives off music, musicanship and meaning as opposed to other 'black metal' bands who have, in the past, rejected these things. We are strongly influenced by bands such as Rainbow, Dio, Ozzy & Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Old Metallica & basically all good 70's and 80's metal as well as loads of other styles. 

The band members roles are as follows:

Mars - Drums/Vocals/Bass

Arioch - Guitars/Bass/Backing Vocals

All recording/mixing/producing done by Arioch

Friends are brought in to complete live show line ups, but we are all instrumental in recording.
