And who (or what), you ask, is trale? That's not necessarily an easy question to answer.
The questions we must ask, of course, are who, what, where, when and why?
"Who is trale?" is an easy one to answer. Trale is, in no particular order, Eric Ceresa, Joe
Perrino, and Steve Brewer. Eric plays mostly guitar, Joe plays the bass and tickles the ivories, and
Steve hits things. Hard.
"What" isn't quite so easy. Trale is a rock and roll band. I don't mean a heavy metal band, or a
sugary pop band, or even a punk band. Trale is a rock band in the tradition of the Beatles, the
Rolling Stones, the Who, the Jam, Radiohead, the Verve, Sloan, and so on, etc... If you think
that's a lot of traditions all at the same time, you're right. That's what makes "What?" a hard
question to answer. If you really want to know what Trale sounds like, buy a copy of the trale EP
(if you haven't already) and decide for yourself. You can find it in indie record stores throughout
Southeastern Michigan, or buy it direct from the band.
"Where?" is somewhat simpler. The answer is "Wherever." Trale is based in Detroit, but has
played in nearby cities, states, and even countries. Want to know "Where next?" Go to the shows
page.
"When?" Well, Trale's been around for a few years now. How long? Longer than the Backstreet
Boys, but not quite as long as the Grateful Dead. Is that specific enough for you?
"How?" Very well, thank you.
And last but not least, "WHY?"
Well, why not?
