Back once again people, this time this really is my best work! I say this every time and I'm well aware. This one, is my most professional to date due to me progressing from Ejay to Acid Pro! With Acid I can do basically everything I've wanted to do for a long time and hopefully that will start to show in my newer songs. This one took up god knows how many tracks and I had to put the end of the song together with guess work because my computer couldn't process the song live so I couldn't listen to it! Had to export the song a few times so I could hear what I was doing and anyone using a highend program such as Acid or Cubase will know how long it takes to make a mixdown compared to Ejay! Higher State should be a club friendly choon with any bit of luck. Hope y'all like it! |

Back once again people! This time, a whole lot different to my usual style! This was written a few days before Christmas when I was one of the happiest guys alive due to a certain girl (later to be removed and inspiring some very dark and emtional songs sice then). This song has a very Christmasy type feel around the 2:20 mark or so when the pizzi sound is introduced to bring out an almost Enya type effect on the song. The song does get very emotional if you stay with it. Purity has more musical content than in most of my songs, more of a compostion than an arrangement. I'm not too sure what genre to put this in as it is faster than most of my songs at 160bpm! I usually write a lot about my songs, some people even call my writups essays but this time I want you the listener to find an emotion in this song and feel it for yourself without me having to tell you what it is or should be. People have written to me telling me that some of my songs spark up hidden memories of youth, particularly with "Remember?", I hope this can follow in its footsteps. To all you rock fanatics out there who diss dance music and say there is no heart felt emotion...think again coz this song is all emotion! I want to thank Darcy for a great year together but now its time to move on :) |
