An upbeat song with a driving, train-like groove, catchy and uplifting. A great example of Lynn's musical motif:"music to go flying by." Named for a daily Denver–San Francisco passenger train of the same name, “California Zephyr” features impressive fingering technique by Lynn, a tuneful lead guitar (also Lynn’s), solid bass by the E-Town Band’s Chris Engleman, and the inspired violin of Lila Sklar. |
