Irie Dingo is an exciting new, original, 4 piece Funk/Rock band from San Diego. The group was formed back in January '99, when singer/songwriter Wayne Galan started recruiting musicians to help produce his original lyrics and music. Now Irie Dingo is complete with 3 other major talents, who not only provided assistance but also contributed new material and artistic diversity. 
Irie Dingo is: Wayne Galan ~ Lead Vocals, Ilya Zatuchny ~ Guitar and Chuck Miller ~ Bass. The members have a wide variety of musical influences, making each Irie Dingo track an absolute original. The band produces fluid songs with varying styles - rock, funk, reggae, even blues, with the commonly identifying trait of catchy melodies and a bopping bass-line. Don't even try to stand still when they crank it up!
'Irie' (pron. i-ree, a Jamaican word) means feeling great and 'Dingo' is an Australian wild dog. Recent live appearances on NBC TV and KOCTV have brought this new and highly energetic group to the attention of the San Diego music scene.
