| This is a sequence of one of my favorite tunes by J.S. Bach. Sequenced entirely on my Yamaha SY77 synthesizer. You will be amazed at the analog sounds this digital synth puts out. This sequence sounds very much like the version on the album "Switched On Bach" that featured the moog synth back in 1968. |

| How timely this song is with the turmoil going on in East Timor. NikiVee's "Freedom East Timor" is a great battle cry for freedom. The song brings together all the elements of a great song with a great dance beat. The almost tribal sound to it and the chants of "FREEDOM EAST TIMOR", provided by the New Zealand Army Band Choir are what bring this song over the top. Wonderful musical texture abound in this tune to make it a stand out track. Maybe this should be the battle cry for the East Timorese? |

| Ok, here is the story. Back when I was 18, I'm now 45, I played guitar. I was no Jimi Hendrix for sure, but not bad. I wrote many a song with lyrics and singing.This is a tune that was written when I was around 19 years old. I had many, many versions of this song both acoustically and electric. The version you will listen too, I hope, was a remake done in 1985 with some synth parts. The song is about someone going home to his lover, but the catch is he is an alien traveling thru space. Listen to the lyrics. I thought I'd put it up here for kicks. |
