One man sits- His fingers flow- Putting out sound- It is his passion- Today- he thrives One man sitting- Reviews: Arizona artist plays fingerstyle steel-string guitar that's calm and relaxing without becoming uninteresting. Costello has an open sounding approach perfect for a session of gentle desert contemplation. NBCi.com Very sincere and unpretentious player who creates a beautiful tapestry in every tune with his fingerstyle approach. Most artists use their instrument as a tool to hack out a preconceived hook. I am looking for those who allow their instrument to take part in the composition as a partner. ks-1 guitar favorites guitar favorites & ks-2: folk and folk rock by Pete Marinovich This Song tells me I'm a timless traveller on a spiritual journey. Picker's Paradise - Guitar Music Selected by Jason Tyler Guest I was really moved by this piece, Gollum's Handiwork, and wanted to include here on Selected Eclectic. Tom delivers a very haunting quality in this piece, indicative to my ears of the blues legacy of Robert Johnson crossing with a certain amount of Celtic modallity. Tom is also a luthier. Please stop by his site for more info on this really talented artist. (Processional Opus I) is Tom's second piece on his site. This tune is a contrast to Gollum's Handiwork and reminds me a great deal of the phrasing of early Will Ackerman. This piece is very visual and really gives a sense of a processional event in a large hall somewhere. Selected Eclectic, music from the world of acoustic guitarist, Jim Goodin Extraordinary and fluid fingerstyle....nice Cuttys Picks Tom presents a short piece that will make kings and princes want to get up and stroll up the aisle to their thrones. Majestic, succinct...with every note in place makes this one feel like it had to be composed. On the Quiet Side of the Guitar by the Master Tom Salvatori
