Started life as a soundtrack to a commercial: a ruggedly handsome model in safari wear driving a Land Rover through darkest Africa. The client wanted to know if we could make the music sound “like the Internet." Kate and I looked at the guy like he had three heads and none of them human. We didn't get the account. The finished soundtrack opened with a modem handshaking. Why didn’t we think of it? |
