| Vibraphone, synthesiser, and bowed double bass accompany the flute over a Csound manipulated sample of african children singing. The tempo is very free for all instruments, and the score often indicates different tempos. It is synchronized loosely with a series of cues. |

| Is it freely tonal, and highly chromatic, or is it atonal? pre-lewd introduces FOOG. It was improvised quickly after composing the double fugue of two 12 tone subjects. |

| Two 12 tone subjects are treated one at a time in this double fugue. Although it may sound atonal or dissonant there is usually a tonal goal, though not usually a traditional tonal, or harmonic plan. |

| Upright bass, marimba, guitar, and clarinet repeat phrases of differing phrase lenghths causing an interesting shifting effect as the juxtaposition and relation to other phrases changes. There is a breif clarinet clarinet solo that dances about above the undulating phrases, focusing on one at a time as it plays out, and then rejoins the throng. |
