Welcome to And The Pious!
And The Pious is the artist name of Matt Deter's hometown band from Tri-Cities, WA.
Matt (who sings lead vocals and plays rhythm and lead guitar) has been writing songs since he was 10 years old and has finally taken to the Web with a serious new demo album. Along with his bro Cody (bass) and friends Nick Wheeler (rhythm guitars) and Caleb Cain (drums) these guys are crankin' out some kickin' tunes! We hope you'll enjoy the music!

MATT: "hey music lovers! matt here! Thanks again for checking out our stuff. if you truly love music, than you'll love and the pious! how do i know? because i'm way too optimistic about everything if you couldn't tell by now. :) there are three easy steps to make your day go better as follows: 1.stream, 2. listen, 3. love. is this asking too much? for a quick pick-me-up these simple as amish instructions can be done one at a time or consecutively and in no particular order! seriously, you are the ones that we strive to please. without your appreciation my expression would be as convoluted as my favorite movie, "the wrong guy", which is out on video, well, for a long time now. as an update, we're currently working on new material that hits the studio very extremely soon! (fingers crossed) :) my plan is to debut our new release right here on mp3.com/andthepious first! (andthepious.com) i do hope you enjoy our music and keep watching for the latest of and the pious!"
CALEB: "Hey everyone, this is Caleb. I'm excited about what has taken place within the band, you can feel it in the air, and in...the.....band. hmmm. Coming together and recording our first project is just the beginning!...which is why they call it the FIRST project! :) Yep! Lot's more in store! You see how well I rhyme? This could be just the evidence you were looking for to get you hooked on and the pious! We're hoping to put together some more material very shortly, but as with most things, it will take money. Time is money, but for some reason that doesn't help us any. :) You cannot place a price tag on perfection. This is why you can get our demo album at such little cost to you! :) If I could leave you with an imponderable, "If your goal is to fail in life and you are successful, what are you really?"
