Diata Sya s Story began ten years ago in Mali, West Africa with young people of Bamako Coura and Dravéla.
They are the two oldest districts of Bamako and the hottest neighborhood of the capital. Its also there that a lot of Rap-Ragga band such
as King Dadja, Zotto boys. Diata Sya began to get in popularity in 1991-92 under the
name of Black Boys, a band of five artists:
Madani Touré "Chanana",
Moussa Koné "N-Bee",
Kamadou Sidibé "Krimo",
Makamba Doumbia et Karou Kaba.
Afterwards, the two last members abandoned the band for other occupations. Makamba devoted to school and
Karou Kaba presently animate Rap broadcastings on the district s radio. Under the leadership of Madani Touré "Chanana", the Black Boys became Diata Sya,
the descendants of Soundiata Keita. Conscious of the importance of music, the Diata Sya struggle through their engaged lyrics. The are inspired By Soundiata Keďta
"Mandé Massa", a great Mandingo warrior. They and hope, one day to reach the international scene. Diata Sya seems to be ready to put on the musical market their second album. An album expected by the Malian public after the hit "Boumba. The clip was produced by Kourtrajmé
like the Diata Sya, members of "Ital Vibes".
