Special thanks to...
I'd just like to give a shout out to all my friends who made this music a reality, and who kept it real. Among those (in no particular order) are Jennifer Chen, Dorann McMillan, The Dave, his honour Mike "The Judge", Diane Sullivan, Anansa Lindsey, Megan, Donald DeWaal, Molly, Kate, Susan, Richard Shoemaker, David Peterson, Bill and Elaine Pappas, Bruce Folkerth, et cetera. Also thanks to my mother for understanding when I need to be alone with my keyboards, and my father for understanding that I need a new guitar every once in a while ( :. Thanks very much to my sister for bothering me all through my life, making sure I didn't end up like some geek I wouldn't want to be. Thanks to Desireé Ramirez for thinking my music is beautiful no matter how bad it may sound. And if there's anyone else that I haven't mentioned, you are thanked. : )
The players
People who perform with me
- Max Stahl
- All synthesizers, master of ceremonies, all sound mixing and sound engineering, sound effects, and composition
- David Martin
- Master of stringéd instrumentation; some guitars, some cello, and a malenky bit of the old ultraviolence
People who assisted me in producing this
- Donald E. DeWaal
- Loaned some synths and assisted in voicing and mixing. Plus, I co-own my mixer with this guy.
- Jennifer Chen
- Offered moral support and sardonic remarks behind the scenes. Plus she helped me devise the web page. That's below somewhere.
- "Homebrew"
- This man kicks ass. Nobody knows him, I'm sure, because that's not his real name. But he knows who he is. Homebrew basically listened to all my queer technical problems and told me about all the groovy equipment he's got that I will never own.

A friend of mine told me that it makes him think of a dark cobblestone street in the middle of the night, and there's this guy walking down it. There isn't any snow around, but the air is frigid. The guy just starts running, because he's scared of something he doesn't know what, and the staccato pulse of his feet against the stone ground rattles through the night. Okay, so that's not exactly what he said, but it's close. |

This is the 18-track digital arrangement of "Run from Nothing". It includes such wonderful instruments as a Fantasia pad synth and a MIDI-Moog. Lovely.... |
