	This is a pop/gospely sounding song. I wrote it about a San Francisco jazz bar called Martuni's that I used to go to to sing at its piano open mic. There's a motley crew of characters there, but a common thread runs throughout - all of them love singing, many are very talented, and some are hoping to break into the crazy music business.

	This is a melodic melancholy song about people who don't fit into the mainstream. I've since written a bridge for the song & added a final verse & chorus and am hoping to re-record it (professionally!) this Fall.

"It's Always the Same" genre: Electronica

	This song is about how people face inertia trying to realize their dreams. I wrote the lyrics and music and then freakcontrol (check out his webpage here on MP3.com), a very talented producer and electronica musician in Sweden, did a remix for me, adding new keyboard parts, sounds, beats, etc. I contacted freakcontrol about doing a remix after seeing his link at aisling being's mp3 site (check it out - more great trance/electronica). This was an Internet collaboration, with all the data & MP3s going back & forth over the e-mail and overloading our computers! For my first foray into electronic music, I think it turned out pretty darn good! Let me know what you think :)
