This winter the music industry will be exposed by a cold reflection of reality. "Cultivated", an Indpendent film portraying the different choices available for a group of hip hop artists. Cultivated will be distributed directly on DVD and VHS. The story takes a critical look at the culture of America today, the choices available to aspiring artists, and the fruits our choices bear. This film was not created to gain mainstream acceptance. It was written by an independent artist, for indpendent artists, and those that love them. Do not look for glossy ads in magazines to find out about this film. Online promotion and alternative media will be our campaign strategy...termed from Real to Real. The following songs are a peak into the movie. They are only snippets of the full length songs that will appear on the Soundtrack. We begin shooting January 2004. Currently we are in post-production with the Soundtrack and will be selling them here and in the streets of Seattle and online. We are looking for submissions and collaborations for the soundtrack, and do have an opportunity for those interested in organized underground exposure. If you are an underground artist in the Seattle area with near complete material or a willingness to co-create with other local artists please contact us before January 2004 and you may be part of the film. We also have something coming in January in connection with the film for independent artists/labels and unsigned acts. I hope we have sparked your hopes for real entertainment that isn't mainstream mass meditated. Come back soon, we are moving quickly to bring this to the world. There will be more songs and info.
