This is an experimental track that I made using Reason during the huge snow storm of 2003. It was simply a way to keep myself from getting cabin fever. It uses 4 synthesizers and a drum machine with some reverb effects. |

This is a noise track, intended to be a transitional piece between Fibonacci Sessions 4 and 6 on the CD. It utilizes the same concept used in 3 and 4, but on a much smaller scale, and with a much larger number system. |

This is, so far, the most interesting track of my Fibonacci Sessions, (music made from varying interpretations of the Fibonacci Series...) This track has a much lower classical feel than the previous two. It ebbs in and out of the currently accepted limits of musicality, while maintaining a constant rhythm. |

This is the second of the Fibonacci Sessions, based completely on the Fibonacci Sequence (which you learned about in high school math class). This one is slightly more complex and rich than the first one. |

This is an all-math based piece that is part of a project I am working on called the Fibonacci Sessions. These pieces are compositions made using different interpretations of the Fibonacci sequence, modified to modular number systems. |

This piece starts out not quite as happy hardcore but progresses into it. Every sound in this piece was made from scratch using Soundedit's waveform generator... no drum machines, no samples... I hope you like it. |

This is another track made completely from scratch, no samples or drum machines. Just pure waveforms generated and then altered to my liking using Soundedit. It is kind of dark sounding but I think it is fun. |

This was an experiment in Midigraphy, a downloadable MIDI program for the Mac. After I made it, I took it into Soundedit and fooled around. It is very slow and droning but some folks who have heard it have declared it their favorite of my works to date. It is not at all like anything else on this site. |

As the title implies, this is simply an experiment in examining the possible permutations of the notes that make up an A minor chord. It is very soothing and trancy. |

This is an experimental alteration of "Am Permutations" that is based on a theory I came up with involving Algebraic algorithms applied to rhythm. the beat can be plotted on a curve, instead of a straight line. I believe this method is successful in creating an eerie and suspenseful experience. |

A layering of many tracks. Very fast and droning (hence the "redundancy" in the title. The "Hypnorobotronic" refers to two things: 1)the droning quality again and 2) one of the layers of sound sounds a lot like the music from the old game Robotron... |

This was an experiment in total randomness. It may sound like it was composed using some sort of intentions, but what I did was use a music compostion and sheet music program, placed notes randomly and then exported it as a midi file. I took the midi file into Soundedit and layered it in a special way. The result is actually rather fascinaing to me and nice to listen to. |

This isn't really a techno song, but I don't know how to classify it otherwise. It almost has a Carribean feel to it but it was done using loops and things in the tradition of the Experimental Mathrock series. If anyone knows of a more appropriate classification for this song, please e-mail me. |

I call this "My Mistake" because that is exactly what it is. I was doing an experiment with creating a midi file and then altering it further in my special way. Well, originally, I included a drum track in the midi file. I thought that my experiment would sound cool with the drums. I put it together and decided I didn't like the drums. But, I had accidentally done something that I thought sounded really cool. I tried to re-create it without the drums, and never succeeded. So I am uploading this, as-is, sort-of as an outtake, but I do think it's cool.. |

This is a weird piece I made when I was on Demerol in the spring of 2000. After I came off the painkillers, I had no idea where I had been going with this so I decided that I could not alter it any further in good faith. So I present it in its final form from my 2 week painkiller spree. |

I warn you! This song, to some ears, will be considered incredibly monotonous. I enjoy it, however and hopefully so will you. It is the result of an experiment, a very redundant experiment. In the process of making it, I was very pleased with some subtle shifts that happen during the course of the song. If you listen to it in a meditative state, I promise it will be very interesting for you. |

WARNING! Be careful... this track doesn't overmodulate my speakers, but my speakers have a much smaller range than some. Please be careful when listening to this the first time to make sure there is no problem. Once again, this started as an experiment. I used the echo effect on Soundedit and played around with it a lot until I came up with something I really enjoyed. The original name has been changed to protect the innocent (I had to change it because it mentioned by name a popular artist...), but it had come from an idea spawned by the fact that it sounds like "songbirds" being attacked by one another. |

This is a particularly campy song made with acoustic guitar, several layers of noise and some electronic elements. It sounds cool, but, lyrically and vocally, it might make you laugh. Please see the info link for more information about its campy, melodramatic, possibly hilarious (or tragic, depending on how you look at it) nature. |
