PRABHU DAS began his study of Yoga twenty-seven years ago, with one of the most bonafide Yoga Masters of our time. Since then, he has taught and played Kirtans and Bhajans, worldwide.
As an accomplished singer/songwriter/musician, PRABHU DAS has performed at the prestigious Tokyo Music Festival held at Budokan Hall in Japan. He has also performed before sold out audiences in the concert halls of Beijing, China; Manila, Philippines; Hong Kong, New Zealand and the United States.
PRABHU DAS has also released several albums, notably some of them entitled "Mahal" with RCA/Victor; "Haribol" with Polydor/Dyna Records in Manila; "The Adventures of Govinda" with Little Cowherdboy Records and his New Age album, "Winds of Fire" with Condor Classics, both released in the United States.
PRABHU DAS has also authored three published books of poetry entitled, "Anak Araw", "Mother Sun" and the "Heart of the Lotus", which are now in the libraries of Yale, Cornell and the Library of Congress, under the pen name P. Dadivas.
Currently in the midst of writing his next book, PRABHU DAS is also teaching Yoga and Meditation at the Hoboken-Gauranga Yoga Center in the City of Hoboken, New Jersey, U.S.A. and is also in the studios completing his next CD entitled, "Radha Madhava", with the Ganga Jala Ensemble.
His music is simple and clear. His message transcendental. PRABHU DAS plans to tour again in the year 2004.
