So, then, youâre supposed to sit down & write a review for a band whoâs members you know, & still maintain your highly essential impartial position. Maybe itâll tip over, come to the point where you become more magnetic to the flaws rather than the glimpses of light, like when a teacher whoâs child attends his class becomes tougher towards that particularly student âcause he canât become nicerâŚno, Iâll simply have to slide into a temporary psychosis of sorts & imagine & persuade myself that I donât have a clue who âthe boysâ are.
It kicks off with Red Light, a groovy tune which roots lie in The Doors listening, just listen to the way the singer Kristian âKribbeâ Svensson moans his lines & youâll see. How the song suddenly goes instrumental for minutes, striving with trance-like electrical-piano-manufactured moods, also brings the thoughts to Manzarek & co.

Relieving contrast, pure pop â lively & brisk with an orgasm-like ending. A sign of being many-sided, if anything. |

Then suddenly weâre caught in more warm-blooded regions; the 2nd track an instrumental, suggestive, piano-centred glimpse of some Spanish, thoughtful, emotional dimension which slowly rolls by on the inside of my eyelidsâŚlike custom-designed for being the soundtrack to a film with its spiritual atmosphere. |

The 4th track is a dirtier piece of work, suddenly it stands clear that theyâve also listened to grunge & more obscurer rock-bands like Sonic Youth. Iâve found this track to be a tad bit long, that it somehow repeats itself during the 13 minutes it plays. But I do enjoy the unexpected samplings from the movie Fear & Loathing In Las Vegas, from which the band has taken their name. |

The last work is some kind of experiment only consisting of guitars, in which the singer reads a text by Oscar Wilde of all figures â even if it takes quite a well-trained ear to hear what is mumbled. |
