I'm pretty much done with mp3.com. I'm going to leave this page as is rather than delete it (looks like I'm still getting some hits). I've switched to Java Music though because they allow for Variable-Bit-Rate mp3s. So be sure to check out my new, and hopefully permanent, home.
8.16.02 - Ok, JavaMusic sucks! When are these sites going to learn that musicians have no money?!? The link below will redirect you to my business site. I have some samples there for your enjoyment. Thanks for listening.

I got recruited to help someone with a thesis during the summer of 96. I entered a ton of Baroque musical examples into Finale and this piece was the result of having that genre on my mind. I’m not sure if the harpsichord part is realistic or not, but I know some people who can really fly on those things. |

I remember working really hard on this one. It was all sequenced with Finale on the trusty LCii. All of the sounds come from my Kawai K11. I put two patches together to make the lead synth sound. I remember thinking how cool it would be if someone could play it on guitar instead. Conrad? |

Early in the summer of 95, my sister loaned me her 4-track. That summer I bought a gigantic 1965 Thomas organ with 3 keyboards, floor pedals, built-in Leslie, and the works (it barely fit down the stairs) for like a hundred dollars or so, and I also bought my bass. This is one of 7 songs recorded in my bedroom with the 4-track, one mic, and nothing else. That’s me playing the drums, organ, bass, and guitar. The pieces from this set were all composed the same way: drums first, then guitar, organ, and bass. |
