Once upon a time it was Life’s a Bitch, a solo project between
Street Rock and Electro Pop, started back in 1995 from
Max Bitch in Turin, Italy.
Musician since he was 7, at that age he studied violin.
Then at 14 he found Rock n’Roll and the electric guitar... And at 17 he started
to write his own music and playing bass and drum machines, besides attending a
school of vocal technique, ending up in a first demo tape:
Life’s a Bitch © 1996 Bitch Music, reviewed on
Hard! and
Metal Shock, two of the most important magazines in the italian music
scene. The year after he recorded his second work:
C’Mon and Love me or Just Kill Me! © 1997 Bitch Music, with even more
electronic influences.
During these two recordings many musicians helped his out in the studio, like
Cristiano Scaravaglio (Guitars), Matteo Ciliberti (Bass), Massimo Vico (Sax),
Gigi Giancursi from Perturbazione (Guitars)
and last but definetely not least Dr.Alien
(Piano and Keyboards).
A few words on Dr.Alien: He studied piano for eight years of Italian
Conservatory of Classical Music, but he always had a sort of internal energy,
the same you can find in every great rock musician. Reason why he started to
play in a rock cover band named NO WAY OUT, more than ten years ago, whose
singer at that time was Max Bitch, and that’s where the two met. They both took
different ways after that project, but they kept on composing, playing and
recording music together. After those recordings he moved to San Diego,CA in
1997, where he met his friend and musician Ant, who started to play with other
local musicians, to get ready to perform live Life’s a Bitch music.
Life’s a Bitch
played at Brick By Brick in March 1998 (thanks to Alysia Behun and her
Rock n’Roll Glamour Show.
Unfortunately it came a bad period for the band that after some internal
problems, decided to split up and different projects came out: Ant formed her
Industrial Electro-Experimental project named Antiquark
and Max Bitch came back to Italy to met again Dr.Alien, and in 2000 they
started a new project named noiseFree. NoiseFree is an Electronic Pop Rock
project formed by:
Max Bitch: Vocals, Bass, Guitars, Loops and
Drum Machines.
Dr.Alien: Piano and Arrangement.
The two have composed, arranged, registered, mixed and mastered the last demo
CD in February 2003, named
noiseFree © 2003 noiseFree.
And now... They’working on the new songs, and getting ready to perform live.
