For those who by His grace have been saved from their sins, and have put their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, it is not only comforting, but cause for rejoicing as well, for as the Lord tells us through the Apostle Paul, "... we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." (Romans 8:28) In verse 31, he goes on to say, "What then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us? | Philippians 2:9-11 states, "Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." All men will surrender to Jesus Christ. The only question is, whether they do it now, in the age of Grace, or do it later, at the Great White Throne Judgment. If you have not yet surrendered to the Love of God, and personally received His gracious gift of eternal life through His Son Jesus Christ, please don't put it off a minute longer! If you wait too long, you leave God no choice but to judge you for your sins at the Great White Throne. The very thought of that makes me tremble, since the eternal future of every single person that comes before the Great White Throne for judgment is separation from God, and torment forever. Thank God for giving us the way to spend eternity with Him, by sending Jesus Christ to pay for every man's sins. Jesus said, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whosoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?" John 11:25-26 Also, there are not many ways to heaven. Only one, according to the Word of God in Acts 4:12: "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved." |

| This song, though technically in the classical genre, is one I wanted to share with you, because I think it will bless you. | My daughter Holly carries the melody line on her flute through most of this arrangement of one of my very favorite Christian hymns. At the beginning, just solo flute is heard, but soon, the flute voice is no longer alone but is joined by the melodic voices of many piano strings. It is when we feel alone that we need to remind ourselves that if we know Jesus as our personal Lord and Savior, it is indeed well with our souls, even when we feel lonely and isolated. |
