Everything must have a beginning. In olden days, one day, just after very „busy“ and long night there were fathers-founders (and of course, we should not forget about the mother), who awoke and found out, they have got a band. They started to think about the name. They were thinking long, very long time, when suddenly one unnamed old fellow got an idea. Because they lived in country, which used to be inhabited by Celts and nowadays by Czechs, the name was developed from both and was Czeltic.
Since that they have already played plenty of Irish or Scottish reels, jigs, hornpipes and songs on festivals, in Irish pubs, clubs ... etc. And who could you see and hear? The violin is “treated“ by Ondřej “Houbička“ (could be possibly translated Spongie) Hanousek, bellows are pushed by Jaroslav Krasničan, Scottish highland or electric pipes, spoons, "open back" five-strings banjo are played by Vclav Rout (who sings too), against the bdhrn leans as well as sings Lenka Svobodov and guitar strings “tears” Petr “Medvdek“ (means Teddy) Vašek - just the band Czeltic.
In repertoire of the band you could find traditional tunes from Scotland and Ireland sometimes played very “untraditionally“ with unexpected motives.
