this is a song i wrote the day after one of the shootings in virginia with the sniper. I had to go to virginia for my uncles wedding that day, and we had to get home that night, so we didnt stay for the reception afterwards and ended up stopping at a Wendy's in Ashland. Well when we pulled up, i was driving and then i opened the car door, and then i heard this shot...and we had specifically tried to go farther south of Richmond, where the other recent shootings had been at that time. But then we ended up stuck there for about 5 hours while police questioned everyone at the Wendys at that time....and by then there were about 124 government and ATF cars is what i counted at the scene.. This was right next to the Panderosa at which the shooting happened. So i wrote this song about America, about how people stick together in times of trouble. I thought about how much it takes for people to come together and help eachother, which took 124 police and government cars, and a dead man, and a phyco sniper on the loose.
