Tommy Lander is a progressive touchstone of the singer-songwriter’s renaissance marinated with jazz style creativity much like David Gray, and Dave Matthews, along with the passion of U2's Bono, without the glasses. The group is part of this great resurgent phenomena in its music that sounds inevitable, addictive and fresh.
Tommy Lander's music began in 1992, born in bands that didn’t bear the name, but brandished the beginnings of the Tommylander group. The music sprouted as an aggressive, alternative style, stemming from heavy metal and hard rock, grew into a folk singer-songwriter and matured to become the ripe, progressive, new-age jazz style it is today.
The band consists of Tommy Lander on vocals and guitar and Tim Simmons on drums. They are retaking the stage, and captivating audiences with their intricate, engaging music.
