SCS was founded in March 2003 to fill a need in Lincoln, Nebraska for an online community dedicated to covering and promoting the local music scene.

By providing show schedules, message boards, musician classifieds, chat, venue info, band info, show reviews and album reviews, SCS hopes to be a one-stop spot for finding information about the live music Lincoln has to offer.
