Based in Switzerland, its members (nickair & Syxx) are involved in many different activities related to music and sound design.

SHIVA-X is only one aspect of their musical work and technical prospections.

SHIVA-X is a live concept. What you can hear here is just a part of it, a basis for further live experimentations.

Various items are added during live performance, such as real analog synth parts, noises, samples, loops, etc. We also often add live percussionists for a yet more expressive feeling and sound.

SHIVA-X is psychedelic music. Don’t expect middle of the road, large audience, MTV like tracks. We work on expanding consciousness.

Psychedelic music has been a long story deeply connected to the seek of human's mind expansion. It began a few tens of thousands years ago in the Homeworld of humanity, the forest.

Through time, it inspired thousands of souls, and refined into many forms, such as Muhotatal Valley Earth singing, Traditional Indian music, Tantric Buddhist music, Gregorian songs, etc.

The twentieth century rediscovered a form of repetitive music which becomes part of the spiritual quest. Despite its pagan aspects, western modern music is often deeply connected to ancesters' tradition, although it appears not to be always obvious!

Our time is one of doubt, destruction, one of intrumentalised consumption.

SHIVA-X, as a free gift to anyone, is our contribution to enlighten your path through a psychedelic experience.

Our method is to create a repetitive pattern with breaks and fill it with as many synth lines, noises, single events as possible. Through repetition, we try to recreate a kind of organic complexity. This leads to a so called "Wall Of Sound" that many inspired sound engineers (like P. Spector) tried to achieve.

We shall bring you to the limit of music, where you can’t distinguish what you hear and what you imagine, concieve, create by your own psychic energy.

The best way to enjoy the effects of our music on your mind is to come to one of our concerts. Then you’ll know what SHIVA-X really is about ; -)
