Sometimes, when we are overwhelmed by God's goodness and grace towards us, it is difficult to accept that we can offer God nothing in return. This is good, because it means that salvation is a gift; there's nothing we can do to repay God for what he has done. All we can do to praise or thank him is express our love. This song springs from that lesson. |

Kurtis wrote this song on the GCF Fall Retreat as his devotional reflection to Exodus 33:1-34:10. It is a fairly simple praise chorus in which we express to God a recognition that we, as his children, desire him to show us his glory, even if he can only show us a part. |

This is an arrangement of the well known hymn Kurtis wrote sometime around 1993. It is a setting which highlights the message that it is only the blood of Christ that can save us. |
