Lesson #1 - We are The Dead Kings from Charlotte, NC. Working on our
fourth year, we got started at the end of 1999. Our main objective was to
make great rock and roll that was fun, upbeat, mean spirited and fill with
hooks. And that hasn't changed since day one.
Lesson #2 - Putting stuff out was part of our objective. We have
released two full length CD's, in America and Europe, one 10" vinyl split
with San Fran band Hammerlock, and quite a few compilations and tributes.
One tribute was actually released on our own label Scat Boy Records.
"Thinking Of Alice: A Tribute to Alice Cooper". And as always....more
projects and recording are being worked on including an Italian 7" single,
and another tribute to 80's hard rock hero's Twisted Sister!
Lesson #3 - The Dead Kings are a LIVE band. That means the best way to
experience us is when we are making our testament on a stage in your town.
We have traveled from the Atlantic to the mountains in search of individuals
who are hungry for great rock and roll. And we have played all over great
states such as NC, SC, Virginia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Georgia, and Ohio. We
never wanted to target one audience. You can usually see washed up metal
heads and mohawk punk rockers at our shows. And we love them all!!!!
Lesson #4 - We are a product of what we grew up on and what we love:
Kiss, Motorhead, Ramones, Misfits, Twisted Sister, Motley Crue, Alice Cooper,
Sex Pistols, and tons more.
Lesson #5 - There's much more to come. We are currently working on
several more releases, a DVD, and MORE live shows. And, we want to play
anywhere and everywhere. If you want us to come defile your little scene,
