This rehearsal of Garry Goodman's original composition was recorded on cassette circa 1995. It features Garry on his custom-made Tobias 7-string bass and David Nielsen on electrified classical guitar. Garry creates an Afro-Cuban-influenced groove using his Percussive Harmonic technique. The unison line at the end of each "A" section is played with a right-hand Stick technique on 7-string bass. The bass solo features all Percussive Harmonics, however on this particular recording the strings were quite dead and the low end of the bass is inaudible. Garry and David are re-recording Haleakala for release this year.
