The Brother's Meth is the side project of Germ, the drummer of red cel six. The Brother's Meth started putting techno songs togethers approximately 4 years. His material has been laying low until just recently.
The Brother's Meth is very electronic. Germ originally was shotting for a straight hard techno/cyber-thrash sound until he realized the progressive sounds he could make. Definately not your normal techno music.
Germ's musical influences include King Crimson, Tool, Meshuggah, Pink Floyd, Skinny Puppy, the Dust Brothers, Rush, the Chemical Brothers, Mindless Self Indulgence, the Beach Boys, the Who, Mushroomhead, (216), Nothingface, Hum, and Yes. (So you can see why his sound is progresive).
Recently, Germ said "I am afraid some of it is not progressive enough and sounds too thin. I really have been trying to strive for a new feel; using odd time signatures; and I have neglected some basics that bring consistancy." Germ was refering to how his stuff sounds nothing like the stuff he listens to- Skinny Puppy, the Dust Brothers, Paul Okenfold, and the Chemical Brothers.
