This is an instrumental piece characterized by the suttle use of polyrythmics. As can be found in many of today's more advanced death metal bands, although nowhere near as pounding as Messhuggah (or however you spell it), the polyrythmics give it a more chaotic feel the first few times listening to it. It also features a very open style of songwriting giving it a bit of a "jam" type of feel. The drums lead early on in the song, with the guitar simply playing a simple slow cianide-esque riff which builds into a pummeling show of death-metal balls to the wall attitude, which in turn evolves into a heavily grindcore influenced black thrash riff, then of course my fun with feedback. The song is supposed to represent the stages of a good high. Simple and slow at first, then Bam! the shit hits you, and finally, you come off, and your thoughts (the guitar represents the thoughts) finally become muddled as you come down.
