| My friend Michael Ward and I used to experiment with grooves in the studio. This is a funk tune that he wrote with different lyrics. I changed them and updated them. Michael played on Ring my Bell for Anita Ward. He is the funkiest guitar player I've ever heard. His guitar sound is straight out of the Stratocaster guitar into the board. No processing. All the coolness of it comes from his playing technique. I added the clavinets, organs and percussion, and vocals. |
