Dead Leg is the creation of Ben Cushtie, an
eccentric who haunts the poky streets and
public houses of South London. His music is
the product of artistic frustration, suburban
oppression and life threatening boredom. With a
little help from a hard disk recorder and his
patient friends, Ben has created several
works of genius, but has been too emotionally
unstable, not to mention drunk, to take them on
the road. Some say he should be revered for all
eternity as a true God of comedy music; others
think he should be sanded down, galvanised and
shot. Perhaps the true destiny of Dead Leg lies
somewhere between the two. If you like the music

An upbeat, wriggling pop song on the subject of innocence and responsibility. Thanks to Phil for the psychadelic guitar solo. Warning - this song contains vocoders. |

A bright jazzy number about the memories of a middle-aged dunce and the history of his laughable marriage. Thanks to Rich for the guitar solo, it's a corker. This song is the result of some serious multitracking and contains many trumpets. |

A haunting recollection of an abortive South London bus journey. Short and poignant, yet featuring a choir. |
