DOMBROVSKI: First, I wanted to summarize my past as a writer so I would have something to show for the years gone before. I put together a compilation of the most listenable of my original demo material covering the years 1989 through 1995. That compilation became Intro. It contains seven songs. With the exception of one synth-pop song that contains vocals ("The World Isn't Home Yet"), all the material is contemporary instrumental. It's synth, keyboard-dominated music with an adult sensibility, and some of the songs crossover to Progressive Electronica. I would also say a sense of introspection pervades most of the material, too.
DOMBROVSKI: Second, all the material from Intro on this MP3.com web page was recorded in home recording/project studios. "The World Isn't Home Yet" and "Soft Cerebral Hemorrhage" were recorded on four-track cassette recorders. "Venus Rising" was recorded directly to 2-track DAT. Check it out. Thanks!!!
