A transcription for two guitars of one of his extraordinary and remarkably wonderful duos originally conceived for violin and viola. The Duo in G major, K.423, which is in three movements has been transposed to the key of A major. With his otherworldly, unique skill and creative imaginativeness, Mozart worked wonders in being able to camouflage the thin texture of the two linear melodies of this petite masterwork. |

This piece was written for the piano when Scriabin was fifteen years old. One can hear the influence of Chopin, whose music the young Alexander was in love with during that period of his early life. Scriabin's gifts for melody and sense of adventurous harmony are evident in this version for two guitars. |
