...BUT YOU CAN'T HIDE. Featured rock song 6-24-2000. Hard rock instrumental-in the vein of UFO. ---------------Reviewed by: VinnieVolt from Hollywood, California--Cool driving rhythms back up very solid lead work. Needless to say, the guitarist has chops to burn and uses them well. Establishes melodies first before taking off, a sign of a very mature player. Very hot stuff..I'll be checkling out your other stuff (if available) what can I say..I'm a guitarist myself who misses this level of commitment to their instrument. There were times, especially at the end where the leads seemed to go into retroburn without saying much, but most of it was right on! ----"You Can Run" by Rod Laschanzky from Lincoln, Nebraska has all the positive stuff. This is a great rock guitar instro by a superior guitarist and it moves splendidly from beginning to end. But aside from that, the bridge is memorably catchy with a shredding lead closure of licks that would be the envy of any aspiring novice guitarist to be able to, at least, half-way utilize. This is just one of those cool instro rock numbers that you could listen to over and over again without ever getting bored. But then don't take my word for it. Download it and see.---JYCK Radio. |

Haunting blues bringing to mind Santana, Eric Johnson or Gary Moore. This is my 'hit'. People have said this song 'talks' to them. It's made them cry. I've had some who wanted to add lyrics to it. Honestly this song did not come as naturally to me as others. I had the rhythm tracks for quite awhile before adding the melody-just couldn't seem to find the right line. Anyway, have a listen and let me know what you think about MIDNIGHT IN ROME. Reached #4 in the Electric Blues genre.
----------Reviewed by: SNAKE IZZO from Deltona, Florida--Guitars are very nice, excellent they are. Mood is very coool, as far as who you sound like. First off, if two people are doing the guitars they sound like two people who have definitly put there time in. Who do you sound like??? I mean, the textures could take me to anything from Boston to Dicky Betts and a slight touch of Robin Trower. I'm also hearing some Steve Vai and or Van Halen.

Manic-depressive blues instrumental. No 'pretty-boy' guitar harmonies on this one. Just raw blues rock with some cool whammy bar thrown in. Reached #4 in the Jump-Blues genre. |
